fun was had by all

the party has come and gone and they loved it.  m loved the place and that tom & jerry were everywhere!  made me happy to see his face.  i loved that s & s came and i got to spend a little one on one with them.  it always feels so good.  here's a pic of us and our little ones...1.5 months apart.  and that is the only photo that will grace this post since it took 400 years to upload and quite frankly, i don't have patience tonight to wait for more.

went back home a couple days ago for s's little sister's (i claim her as my own sister, too) baby shower.  blows my mind that she will be having a little baby boy in may.  she looks amazing.  wish i could show you, but i was too angry at the person who was supposed to be taking pictures to even think about taking one of me with her!  i mean, "i feel like i have taken 15 pictures of you a bag between your legs so i am not taking anymore."  good thing she couldn't see the look on my face and that my scissors weren't sharp enough to stab her with.  so, you'll just have to take my word on her looking amazing. 

had another craft meeting this am.  i can tell you that the first show will be held may 11th & 12th in saint joseph.  there are four of us putting it on.  there will be little embroidered items, candles, jewelry and all my stuff.  my random collection of stuff.  ha.  today i actually got to spend a little time in my room listening to wendy woo and creating.  i need to do more of it.  makes me happy.  you may laugh at that, but it's like tanning in the winter.  except this is much safer.  just stay away from the scissors and iron, right s?!?  :)

q has been teasing us with walking lately.  he walked a few steps for the babysitter all day one day, but wouldn't show off for us.  that is until tonight where he has really taken to it and as long as he doesn't get too excited.  then he just loses his swag and drops laughing hysterically.  he did learn at the birthday party how to drink from a straw.  i was pretty proud of that.
